After 18 years designing luxury residences, hotels, restaurants, bars, offices and Italian fashion boutiques around the world, we realised there was a divide between designer and builder. How to turn concept into reality. How to design with buildability in mind yet not compromise the vision at the same time. What conceptually looked great on paper was struggling to be implemented with the right level of drawing detailing for each corresponding tradesmen to understand.
Madeline grew The Casper Project out of understanding for buildability, local manufacturing and Australia Building Code.​
Madeline started designing on large scale airports around the world before working with the likes of Versace and Fendi, designing Italian inspired retail boutiques.
Her love for luxury residential design came from working with high net worth clients in Australia and New Zealand. The attention to detail each of the homes required and the relationships she built through the construction journey is still what drives her today.

With an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through design, The Casper Project crafts interiors that feel as good as they look. Blending texture, color, and light, curating spaces that reflects personality, evokes emotion, and bring everyday moments to life. Whether it’s a cozy nook or a bold statement room, our designs are more than aesthetics - they’re an experience.
We are hands on with each and every project, giving our clients one-on-one guidance throughout the design and build journey.
We don't design to then leave you and your trades to figure out how to put it together. Our team stay with you the whole way through. Every site meeting, every phone call, every decision you need to make (and there will be hundreds)!

Statistically, we spend over 80% of our time inside. We believe our environment reflects how we feel and our mood. To invest in our interior environments and tailor our surroundings to match how we want to feel is why we do this.
Our mission is to design dreams, and get these dreams built into reality; just as they were intended.

Since we launched this project, we have been thriving and have quickly gained a loyal following of clients, builders and tradies to work alongside, all of whom appreciate and have a dedicated love and understanding for the finer details of building construction.
